Yes this item can be worn in the shower! The links are anodized aluminum and the clasp is stainless steel, so it is safe to wear 24/7. I do suggest taking it off if you are going swimming, though - chlorine and aluminum aren't friends :)

I'm buying a gift and not sure the length I should order. What should I do?
If you can't measure to keep your gift a surprise, we can still help! I offer re-sizing - just pay the postage send it back and I'll be happy to adjust it for you so that your special someone has the perfect fit. The average bracelet size is between 7"-8" for smaller wrists, and 8"-9" for larger wrists.
